You have probably heard a version of this quote (which is apparently often--and erroneously--attributed to Albert Camus):
Do not walk in front of me, because I may not follow;You may have seen a funny version of it online:
Do not walk behind me, because I may not lead;
Just walk beside me and be my friend.
Do not walk in front of me, because I may not follow;Well, Ebony would like to share her bovine version, brought to you by her heifer, Tiggy:
Do not walk behind me, because I may not lead;
Do not walk beside me, either--
Just pretty much leave me alone!
Do not walk in front of me, because I may not follow;
And whatever you do, DON'T walk behind me!!!
To funny ! I hope all is well & you are enjoying the summer. Bev & I are well, we are getting ready for winter. Even tho it is summer we are only a few short months before it is here again. Garden harvest is underway. We will be putting up as much as we can store. New projects are underway. Each little thing makes it easier to get through the cold months ahead. It's a learning curve each year. But we are gaining on it. The farm is coming along & getting more & more to be a comfortable home. Take Care & God Bless.
ReplyDeleteI'm always glad to hear from you, Mark, and know you guys are doing well. Sorry I didn't reply to this sooner, but for some reason Google stopped sending me email notifications of comments and I only found out by accident. Last time I was looking at your photos I was thinking that winter isn't far off for you. :(
DeleteMy sister Karen composed this poem in honor of the occasion:
ReplyDeleteEbony Dexter needed to poo
But she couldn't find the nearest loo
Then she spotted Miss Tiggy's head
And decided to poop on her instead!
I love it, and I think she has a definite future in poetry!
