Wednesday night on my way to bed I looked outside to see what the snow was doing, and I just had to set up my tripod.
"The moon on the breast of the new fallen snow gave the luster of mid-day to objects below."
(Clement Clark Moore, "Twas the Night Before Christmas")
It almost seems like the Star of Bethlehem could be right past those trees, shining on the manger and the newborn Savior. "Silent night . . . all is calm, all is bright."
And then the lights went out.

Stunningly beautiful!
