Mmm, Good!


Long, exhausting day,
Cold drive home,
Hot homemade soup,
Mmm, good!

  1. Yum! We had soup last night too, only it was a potage (veggies). We're on a mini diet eating lots of veggies and fish, and chicken and whole grains!

  2. This was mostly vegetables. I used 1 1/2 lbs of 2-for-1 chuck roast (stewed in the soup, then removed & cut up) with a large bag of frozen soup vegetables, plus a bag of frozen, chopped collard green, plus a large can of crushed tomatoes, garlic and 1 1/2 c. quick-cooking barley. SO easy!
