Like Grandmother, Like Granddaughter

In July 2010, our first Dexter, Sara, met our new Toyota Tundra pick-up truck.  (Little did we guess that the second heifer Sara would give us three years later would be named "Tundra" after we used the truck to rescue her from flooding on the day she was born.)

While we were putting out hay the other day, Sara's granddaughter Ebony met the Tundra.

Talk about déja vu!  All that was missing were the horns on the cow and the brand-new shine on the truck--Sara had already autographed it when Herb wasn't looking!

  1. Oh so funny! We have peacocks who have done the same. Unfortunately to the neighbors truck. Fortunately it was an old truck and he thought it very funny. Lucky us.

    1. No kidding, Donna! I'm not going to tell my husband because he would NEVER let me get a peacock!

  2. Oh how funny! That Ebby has a thing for handles. She's one that figured out that the handle on the parlor door has something to do with getting in, and she would stand there nosing, licking & bumping it asking to come in when I was in the parlor. :D
