I Told You So!

See, I wasn't just kidding when I said we have them here! Well, I was actually kidding because I was thinking of South Georgia.  But merely two days after I said "we have them here,"--lo and behold, we DO! Right here in River City! I mean, right here in Walker County!

(Okay, so if you read the story you know our Walker County gator was only two feet long, and he's now in custody, so this can't be a picture of him.  This is really a picture of a young gator we saw in a Louisiana bayou a few years ago.) 

All I can say is, "Just when you thought it was safe to go back in the water again . . . !"   It makes me think of this line from a James Bond movie:  "Something he disagreed with ate him."  :)
