The Fruits of Our Labors (Wednesday)

The Psalms promise that if we work hard, we shall enjoy the fruits of our labors.  Last night we enjoyed completely home-grown salads of lettuce, arugula and spinach, garnished with borage flowers and marigold petals.  There was truly a "fruit" of our labors on each salad, as I used up the few tag-end strawberries from the first crop of berries!

After a long day in Chattanooga, it was nice to heat up some of the chili that Jenny made over the weekend, so all that was needed for a great meal was to make the salads.  In tomorrow's post I'll explain the long day in Chattanooga.
