Charis' Busy Day

We picked Charis up at 7:30 this morning, took her to breakfast at Roy's and then came back home with her.  The first thing she did was push the grocery cart with the stuffed frog sitting in it all the way out behind the hay barn.  Then she helped Mimi collect eggs.
Next we gardened, pulling weeds to get ready for planting.
For a long time, Charis threw rocks down the bank . . .
. . . for Zephyr to chase.
When she ran out of rocks, she went to collect some more next to the hay barn.
Didi was making lots of noise hammering on the chicken coop.
Hmm, building something seems like it might be fun!
Charis picked up pieces of left-over lumber . . .
. . . and carried them . . .
. . . over to finish the little house Mimi started to build.
She laid them just so, like big Lincoln Logs!
One last board to finish the little house, then it was nap-time.  Charis slept for 2 hours and 15 minutes!  No wonder, after such a busy day!
