A Yard of Bean!

Since our Jack-in-the-Beanstalk Asian beans have grown up their trellis and out over the fence, we missed a couple beans hiding on the outside.  This one breaks the record at 34"!  That's a lotta bean!  It's a bit too tough to eat, so I'll save it for seed.  I figure anything that grew that big has a lot of vitality!

  1. Amazing! So you'll plant the same beans from seed next season? Yum!
