Win an Interior Decorating Challenge

Having tired of living with a mish-mash of occasional chairs, Herb and I have just purchased a new leather couch for the living room.  It won't be delivered until Thursday, but here's a preview of the leather color:
This photo doesn't quite do it justice, but neither does a color name.  It's probably an olive-khaki color.

We were less definite when it came to choosing an area rug, so we ended up bringing two home on approval.  We're going to leave each one down for about 24 hours and then decide, but we took a sneak preview of each one.  So YOU can enter the Zephyr Hill Interior Decorator's Challenge, and give us your two cents' worth.
The first is a Pakistani rug similar to a Peshawar.  It's a one-of-a-kind hand-knotted rug with a plushy feel.  Depending on which way it's turned to the light, it looks darker or lighter.
Here's a close-up showing that the center is pale bluish-green, while the border is beige.  There are bits of pale yellow, olive and chestnut brown in it.
Number two is a Soumak, which is hand-knotted in a weave that looks and feels similar to crewel embroidery.  It looks the same no matter which way it is turned.  It is a flatter weave without the nap.
Here's a close-up, showing that the center is more blue than the other one, with the border being a very pale pistachio green.  There are several shades of olive green in it along with an old rose and cream.

So chime in and tell us what you think!
