Girls' Day Out

Kara organized a girls' day out this afternoon.  Monique and Charis met Jenny, Kara and me at the Chattanooga Choo Choo.  We had lots of fun there climbing on a great big engine, letting Charis ride a 25 cent engine ride, and dressing up to get silly pictures taken (see below).  After that we went to tea at the English Rose where Charis ate some of my crumpets, some of Monique's leek soup, and a lot of Kara's cream of asparagus soup.  By then it was time to walk over to Blue Orleans restaurant to meet the guys for dinner.  Jenny took this picture of Charis and me along the way.  We finished up the evening enjoying New Orleans cuisine and watching Charis charm everyone around her while devouring everything in sight, including gumbo, crawfish étouffée, bread, and the leftover cream of asparagus soup!
