Charis Came (Tuesday)

Tuesday evening Jim and Monique dropped Charis off and left for a mandatory training session in Austin, TX.  We cheated a bit on her bedtime as we enjoyed the evening with her, Jenny and Jean-Marc, and Zephyr and Hero in the front yard.  Charis had a great time throwing the ball for Zephyr--until Hero took and played "Keep Away" with it!
Charis discovered the daylilies which were the same
shade of yellow as her dress.  She picked a bud and said, "Oh-oh!"  Then she tried to put it back, saying "Baah!  Baah!"  It wouldn't go back, which caused a few more "oh-ohs," to our amusement.  It's amazing to see such a sense of order and "right" in a 16 1/2 month old!

  1. This was a very special stolen half hour with Charis before her bed time! I loved watching her run down the hill, curls in the wind, bright smile matching her bright breezy summer dress!
